Sarvangasana wasn’t one of my favourite poses when I started practicing yoga. I felt mentally restless, physically tired and extremely constricted around my throat.

But when I was introduced to the chair, bolster and props to support me it was a completely different experience. Especially using this amazing yoga chair from @iyogaprops

I was able to stay longer and inversions held for longer periods of time can not only affect our brain state they also help blood flow, calm our minds and teach us to trust.

Sometimes we need to turn our worlds upside down to change our perspective 🤸‍♀️

The benefits of Sirsasana with zero pressure on the neck. Great for restorative practice.

Supported Sirsasana using the wall ropes part 2. In this variation we attached the blanket to ourselves like an apron to avoid blanket slippage. And used blocks to move the ropes away from the wall to give you more of a free hanging experience. You will need a helper for this part and it helps them to take a little weight out of the ropes to allow the blocks to slide in.
